The Music Line up

Plans are well under way and we will have a stella lineup of bands and acts filling two live stages. It's going to be a very eclectic mix of genres from newfolk to electro, cowpunk to indie, dub to triphop, acoustic twiddlings to electropunk.

Here is a taster of the first confirmed acts... (in no particular order..)

MAIN STAGE

Our main outdoor stage will boast a top of the range sound system and light show, here you will find festival favourites and the best of the local live scene throughout the day and late into the night.

 

CAFE STAGE

This is where you will find the intricate, the fascinating and the sublime, sit back and enjoy the sounds whilst grabbing a bite to eat and stocking up at the bar.

Subgiant
Festival favourites bring Live electro breaks to Pulse.
 
Vula
Basement Jaxx singer and Dizzee Rascal collaborator, Vula brings her own brand of funked up Soul.
Science of 8 Limbs
Riff laden experiments from the darlings of the Southampton live scene, complete with gas masks.
 
A Ninja Slob Drew Me
Exquisite musicallity from an 8 string bass guru... yes really that's 8 ! strings,
Pronghorn
Purveyours of the finest cowpunk and psychobilly.
 
Louisa Osbourn
Lush melodies and intricate lyrics from this acoustic twiddler and looper.
Rebel Control
Dub Dub Dub... a festival would not be complete without a healthy dose of riddim.
 
Woven Bird
Once Dead, Dead, Dead they now fly like a bird, catchy indie toonage
Fly, Frankie, Fly
Power pop electro synth gods, on their way to stardom.
 
Innamorati
Latvian Gypsy Dubstep, oh yes we'll have some of that please. Live violins over squelchy wup wup wup wup basslines.
Heathward
Lush, melodic electro field music.
 
Keeley Filgo
Rythmic newfolk from this up and coming songstress.
The City Calls
Energetic pop punk - catchy, jumpy, lumpy stuff.
 
The Red Flags with Emily Baker
Johnny Cash inspired alt.country
Black Bart
Stepping in at the last minute. Alt country from bournemouth...
 
The Widowmaker
Not as evil as he may sound, The Widowmaker makes some beautiful folk sounds.
The Lost Souls Club
Once Plastic Toys, bringing a new kind of groove.
 
Lucy Kitchen
Twiddlsome newfolk, all gentle and lovely music to open the stage.
The Rebs
New wave Indie and Powerpop from the Winners of The Road to V Festival.
   
     
Grant Sharkey - Our Stage compare for the day... of Toupé fame, He's a legend in his own right and will want to swap notes with that Ninja Slob.

All the bands selected to play are playing for two reasons; 1) they are damn good at what they do - 2) they support the cause of this festival.
